About
Our thesis: label automation deserves open software.
Label printing is one of the last corners of industrial software where a handful of proprietary vendors charge per-printer licenses for what is, at its core, text generation. We believe this deserves open software — not as a hobby project, but as a serious alternative.
OpenLabelEngine was started by engineers who spent years inside factories watching operators fight closed systems. The goal is not to build a cheaper NiceLabel. The goal is to build the system that should have existed all along.
